Arius intends to make Rebecca her bride as she shares a fabulous resemblance with her late wife. It is also revealed that Diego and Maria are fathers and daughters, and Erius has close friends who survived the wedding massacre. He develops a new strain of A-virus and injects it into Rebecca. Arias then challenges Chris to save Rebecca within 20 minutes, after which the virus will have a full impact on Rebecca. As Arias’ allies begin their attack by releasing virus-filled gas through tankers on New York City, Leon and Chris’s new BSAA team – DC, Damien and Nadia – manage to destroy vehicles, contain viruses and engage Maria in the process.
